Sr Scientific Analyst Product Development
Parsippany, NJ
Provide analytical support for the Consumer Product Development R&D
departments. This support is defined as the analytical bench work for the
development and validation of methods of analysis, testing of samples
(research and stability) and various investigative studies. In addition,
the individual must actively participate in process improvements and review
investigation and technical reports to ensure compliance to procedures and
regulatory requirements as well as ensure product quality issues are
addressed and resolved. The candidate will also coordinate testing and
validation testing with external contractors.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of a BS degree in Chemistry or other Chemical Science and 7 or
more years of related industry experience is required. An MS degree in
Chemistry, or other Chemical Science and 5 or more years of related industry
experience is preferred. A Ph.D. in Chemistry, or other Chemical Science
with 3 years related experience is preferred. Experience in a GXP
laboratory
environment is required. Detailed knowledge / experience with HPLC and GC
instrumental systems / techniques is required. Detailed knowledge /
experience with UV/VIS, IR and MS instrumental systems / techniques is a
plus. Experience with LIMS, CDS (Waters Empower Software) and Microsoft
software (Word / EXCEL / PowerPoint) is preferred.
-necessary experience & skills required to troubleshoot laboratory problems
-abilitiy to troubleshoot manufacturing problems is preferred.
