Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer
Pharma-Lab/Medical Devices
Hightstown, NJ
Responsible for designing and executing validation strategies
and approaches including complex process characterization
studies to determine independent and codependent variables
and their effects on process outputs is required. Will support
activiites involved with the existing product line as well
as introducing new products. This individual will engineer, design,
document process validation aproaches both internally and at
suppliers. He/she will assess all new processes/equipment for
validation/verification requirements. They will work with
R&D to ensure product: manufactureability, testability and
maintainability.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical
Engineering
-12 years experience in engineering discipline
-A masters degree in either of the above is preferred with a minimum of 9
years
experience.
-Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials necessary to meet
validation responsibilities is required.
-Able to detect and resolve conflicts, recognize and overcome technical and
operational hurdles.
-Able to recognize and communicate the impact of validation and other
technical aspects on the organization, including customers, distributors,
and other internal departments (operations, support, marketing, finance,
etc) is essential.
-Able to communicate technical and operational data effectively, supporting
efficient review, assessment and approval processes.
-Presentation and communication skills sufficient to effectively lead
meeting
with multiple individuals from multiple departments to achieve concrete
conclusions in efficient manner
-Handle detailed development of validation protocols and acceptance
criteria.
-Expected to provide guidance to engineers and technicians on technical
matters and project strategy.
-Percentage of Travel 10-20%
