Senior Validation Scientist - Disease R & D
Wayne, PA
-Assist in the coordination and oversight of biomarker validations and
analyses to support Immunology and oncology disease programs.
-Responsible for the conduct, reporting and interpretation of laboratory
analyses to measure biologic markers that are identified as potentially
associated with disease/modulation following treatment
-Evaluation of new technologies and optimization of existing technologies
for biomarker measurement
-provide strategic biomarker input and support to clinical programs/
interact with external vendors for outsourced analyses.
1. Experience in performing and managing a variety of biological analyte
analyses (high throughput), EIA as well as multiplex analysis (MSD,
Pierce),
flow cytometry assays, RT PCR, microarray
2. Coordinate the planning of analytical priorities for upcoming studies
3. Assist associate scientists with assay development/optimization issues
4. Represent Biomarkers group on different clinical trial teams
5. Participate in writing and review of documents including validation
reports, SOPs and other technical reports.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
-MS with12 years experience, or a Ph.D. with at least 4 years relevant
experience.
-experience in performing and managing a variety of
biological analyte analyses
- EIA as well as multiplex analysis (MSD, Pierce), flow cytometry assays,
RT PCR, microarray.
-Experience in writing and reviewing of documents including validation
reports, SOPs and other technical reports.
