Description: Senior Pipeline Engineer
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
a.. Lead or actively contribute to pipeline engineering and multi
discipline engineering studies and projects;
b.. Undertake pipeline studies including: concept & feasibility studies;
front-end engineering; hydraulic studies; pipeline routing studies, cost
estimating, construction reviews;
c.. Undertake the pipeline related activities of capacity enhancement and
asset integrity studies;
d.. Participate in technical reviews/audits, and pipeline integrity
reviews;
e.. Manage and review work carried out by external engineering
consultants;
f.. Support the development and acquisition of new pipeline business
opportunities in the region.
Qualifications:
a.. You should have 7 to 15 years of pipeline engineering experience in
the oil & gas industry, primarily in onshore, but also the offshore
environment;
b.. Eexperience of
pipelines in both front-end design and project execution/installation;
c.. At least 4 years' experience of pipeline engineering in a consultancy
or technical support role;
d.. Experience (design, operation and management) of pipeline product
transmission and distribution systems would be advantageous;
e.. You must be familiar with international design codes for pipelines;
f.. Good working knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, mechanical design,
control and protection systems, repair methods, and pipeline technology;
g.. An understanding of the materials and corrosion issues associated with
pipeline developments;
h.. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and proven ability
to work with limited supervision;
