Description: Director, Product Marketing - Advanced Process Control Texas, Houston Responsible for the direct management and results of the Product Marketing Managers. Overall GTM strategy for all the Refining & Marketing products, made up the GTM plans for each of the PMMs. Positioning Refining & Marketing products appropriately and effectively. Oversee market positioning of migration of point products to integrated suite for each of the Product areas . Work closely with Product Management to ensure smooth and consistent transition from product release to product launch . Ensure execution of sales enablement via creation of sales tools (product, positioning, training presentations; competitive analysis; pricing calculators; etc.); plan and conduct sales training with PMMs. Work with PMM and Corporate Marketing to develop and provide content for all product-related collateral (market segment, solution, and product brochures; Customer Centric selling tools; white papers; customer testimonials; customer reference materials; newsletters; press; etc.) . Lead definition, creation and execution of sales and marketing programs related to products to build awareness and leads . Support marketing initiatives and programs such as analyst and press briefings. Ensure the creation of appropriate services related marketing materials . Support appropriate partner initiatives within the defined market segments
Qualifications: Qualifications: 8+ years professional experience in refinery operations, process engineering, chemical engineering, software product management, engineering software product sales or a similar field. Solid downstream experience as well as marketing experience is sought. 8 - 10 years experience in a senior marketing role, specifically product marketing/management experience. Education: BS degree in Chemical Engineering, computer science or an engineering discipline. Any business degree with strong experience in Refining & Marketing product marketing management would be acceptable.
