Description: Senior Consultant, Lubes UK Refinery process consultant specialising in Lube Base Oil Production. Generate and develop profit improvement solutions using your process and technical knowledge, process modelling skills, spreadsheet calculations, and client test runs. You will facilitate their implementation to deliver bottom line results through written reports and presentations to clients in formal and informal meetings. You must be able to work well as a member of a Profit Improvement Team, integrating process knowledge and model results to deliver profit improvement solutions. Consultants will also be expected to assist in sales visits and proposal preparation.
Qualifications: BSc in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years relevant process experience in petroleum refinery Operations and/or Technical Services environment, plus 5 years practical experience in Lube Base Oil Production, ideally through both conventional and hydrogen-based technologies. Able to travel internationally. Refinery process modelling skills are required and HYSYS experience. An understanding of refinery economics, advanced degrees, professional engineering certificate, and fluency in a second language are pluses.
