Description: Senior Consultant, Refinery Planning Location: UK Salary: Negotiable. Perform reviews of client business planning work processes and planning tools and make recommendations for improvements to clients in formal and informal meetings. You may facilitate the implementation of improvements by building or upgrading existing client planning tools to deliver bottom line results. You will participate in client financial evaluations such as project economics and plant reconfigurations. Member of a Profit Improvement Team, integrating planning and financial analysis expertise to deliver profit improvement solutions. Conduct sales visits and prepare proposals.
Qualifications: BS, Chemical Engineering. 14+ years experience in refining. 5 years experience in operations planning and/or scheduling services using LP modeling and scheduling tools. Process simulation modeling skills using Petro-SIM, a working knowledge of supply & trading and refinery scheduling functions, and/or LP model building experience are desired. Understanding refinery economics are essential.
