Description: Lead Planning & Scheduling Engineer
Houston
Senior Planner / Scheduler with industrial experience to act as the Planning
& Scheduling lead
for Energy Sector. Refining experience highly desired.
The ability to analyze and organize a project or program with respect
to time and its impact on cost and resources
Employs critical path methods (CPM) to prepare the schedule and monitor
performance.
Prepares a schedule using logic-linked activities that
are resource loaded where appropriate. During project implementation, the
schedule is the basis for:
Measurement and control of progress
Forecasting of end dates
Highlighting of critical areas
Leveling of resources for economic use
Development of mitigating strategies
Provides a full life-cycle planning & scheduling
service for the project or program or alternatively provides
services on a consultancy basis, including:
Initial planning services - facilitated planning workshops or
full wall scheduling
Schedule overview services, whereby schedules prepared and
updated by others are analyzed and proposals made for improvements
Critical path analysis
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction
or an associated Engineering field and will have a
minimum of 15 years of Scheduling experience on medium to large construction
projects. Industrial experience required.
