Description: Director of Engineering & Development (Refinery) Location: Texas Salary: Negotiable. Summary: Directs the supervision of all refinery engineering personnel to ensure the highest level of productivity, safety and overall refinery profitability. Manages the total engineering function of the refinery, including process engineering, project engineering, control systems engineering and strategic project development. Prepares capital and operating budgets for the Engineering group and control to ensure that costs are within budget. Directs planning, engineering, and field activities for all major capital work. Coordinates the development of AFE\'s in accordance with company policy. Develops refinery projects, new refinery business, by determining the scope, capital cost, operating cost, variable and net revenues, and financing alternatives. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required. Master\'s degree preferred. 15+ years of directly related experience. Minimum of 7 years experience at management level required.
