Description: General Manager, Light Products Marketing Washington, Seattle Responsible for Light Products Marketing P&L of the regional marketing areas of assignment. Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting for volume/margin, operating expenses, and capital budgets. Develop regional marketing strategies and tactics for branded and unbranded wholesale marketing to support overall corporate objectives and strategies. Develop and implement pricing strategies and tactics to optimize corporate and regional profitability. Coordinate and serve as marketing liaison with DBO\'s, Pricing, Traders, Manufacturing VP\'s, Accounting, and Credit representatives to insure that regional marketing areas are meeting corporate objectives within company policy guidelines. Supervise and/or participate in contract negotiations with key accounts to insure that customer and corporate objectives are met. Evaluate regional market economics on a periodic basis to evaluate contract performance and to modify marketing programs and contract pricing if deemed necessary. Develop/implement/manage marketing programs for branded and unbranded wholesale fuel sales that optimize profitability. Review contract performance and insure that contractual obligations are met. Supervise a staff of marketing professionals and administrative support personnel to meet all budget and corporate policy objectives. Attend Petroleum Industry Commercial Conferences to promote with customers and vendors. Extensive travel required to promote company with customers in the regional marketing areas supported. Evaluate and support National Account contracts to ensure that regional marketing area objectives are considered in order to optimize corporate profitability.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant. 15+ years experience in the Petroleum Industry with marketing, trading and operations experience. Demonstrated ability to influence management on key issues. In depth knowledge of the economics of the refining and marketing industry. Travel required (approximately 40%).
