Description: Develop and managing the health, safety, and environmental services for the core processes (operations, maintenance, technology and projects) at refinery. You will deliver optimal added value, contributing towards the operational units, while complying with Company and Governmental standards and regulations. Key Develop and implement HSE management systems and policies for the long-term performance improvement of the site, a fit for purpose organization, with appropriate skills, ensuring HSE support to be carried out efficiently, effectively, and in close cooperation with the internal customers and downstream manufacturing in order to support the common objectives of the organization - To ensure compliance with and contribute to the development of Company and governmental HSE and regulations and to support customers in the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Refinery management systems in accordance with relevant ISO standards - To initiate appropriate contacts and ensure good relations with relevant Company and governmental bodies, as well as non-governmental organizations and industry associations - To ensure effective coordination of all activities, including negotiations with relevant authorities related to permits which are required under legislation Act as a member of the Refinery Leadership Team to contribute to the development and implementation of general policies towards achieving business objectives and targets - To ensure identification and promote sharing and implementation of best practices available within the Company and industry - To represent Refinery in HSE networks within and outside the USA
Qualifications: Degree or higher in a relevant discipline and have approximately 12 or more years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. Supervisory/management experience desired. Additional Requirements: - Strong knowledge of federal and local regulations regarding health and safety, and environmental - Strong focus and commitment to achieving best-in-class HSE performance - Ability to produce high quality results, while emphasizing and modeling effective leadership behaviors - Strong communication and organizational skills - Strong business acumen and good understanding of operational fundamentals - Ability to represent the company with external agencies and organizations.
