Description: Principal Piping Design Engineer Location: New Jersey Salary/Rate: Negotiable Prepare layouts and conceptual designs. Prepare complex design drawings. Interface with other design disciplines. Provide direction to, and guidance on, 2D and 3D CAD design. Work independently. Check complex concrete and steel design drawings. Perform squad check of vendor equipment drawings and drawings from other disciplines. Review fabricator drawings. Assist the Design Supervisor, as required. Mentor. Interface with client representatives during detail design development as required. Investigate detail specific as built conditions for project development and research client\\\\'s existing documents & drawings for project use. Provide accurate, detailed manually developed sketches which will be sent to the project home office or aid during construction support. Work with multi discipline site team resolving design detail and or construction issues Interface with client representatives during detail design development as required. Degree, Refinery and field experience. Around 14+ years of experience.
