Description: Senior Estimator Minnesota Senior Estimator will provide conceptual and detailed estimating support for project size ranges from MM to MM. Under general supervision, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: . Overall implementation and direction of the estimating functions to provide services, procedures and methods for the timely and accurate response to client, project management, departmental, and company requirements . On small-sized or multiple projects, act independently or may direct a staff of other estimating individuals. . On large-sized projects, direct a staff of other estimating professionals . On extremely large-sized projects, report to an upper-level estimator and direct a portion of the project staff . Coordinate the estimate plan and development with the project team . Lead the development of the total project estimate . Prepare the total Project Estimate Basis . Prepare the Estimate Risk Analysis and make contingency recommendations . Arrange and conduct department, discipline, and project estimate reviews . Participate in the presentation of the estimate to management . Assist in estimate completion activities and estimate turnover to the project team . Develop and conduct estimating training programs
Qualifications: Significant interaction with client team; understand estimating and related concepts; be able to directly perform detailed take-offs, price labor and material components, develop and price indirects; roll-up and present to site management. Excel, some Kbase. Degree. 7+ years of experience relevant to Engineering, Construction, and or Estimating.
