Description: Sr. Control Systems Engineer APC Location: Tennessee Salry/Rate: Negotiable Provide control system technical support for Honeywell Experion, Honeywell Fail Safe Controller, Siemens APACS and supporting infrastructure to assist in the safe, environmentally conscious and reliable operation. Provides oversight and troubleshooting on existing and new Honeywell Experion applications. Participates in teams, studies and system evaluations to improve the controls systems at the plant. Works to support project work scopes and help direct the plant evolution to a consistent controls vision using reliable technology. Works within a team environment and fosters good relationships with co-workers and other disciplines. Retains adaptability to a changing technological environment while valuing reliability and operability of the control system. Communicates lessons learned and new technologies discovered amongst colleagues to maximize knowledge of CSE department staff. Troubleshoots and maintains DCS systems in good working order. Develops and implements process control schemes and control techniques. Designs control systems for all types of refinery equipment and processes. Tunes existing process controllers. Develops and reviews control logic on process units for improvements. Develops scope for control and advanced process control projects including project budgets. Develops and implements advanced DCS calculations and programs. Assists process engineers in unit troubleshooting and startup as needed. Works on or with project teams to improve plant facilities. Manages control system contractors as needed. Helps develop and maintain Control systems Engineering policies and maintenance procedures. Requirements Bachelor\\'s degree in Chemical Engineering required. Process control/advanced process control field experience required. Process engineering experience preferred. Experience with Honeywell Experion and/or Moore/Siemens APACS platform desired, especially system management experience. Experience with safety instrumented systems desired.
