Description: Sr. Electrical Engineer Location: Delaware Salry/Rate: Negotiable Manages multiple project teams that develop and execute additions and improvements to electrical distribution and power generation systems. Manages the allocation of and electrical engineering resources to ensure that capital and maintenance AFE projects are developed and implemented on a timely basis and that the quality of engineering work meets established standards. Develops and manages the execution of an electrical energy efficiency program. Provides technical resources to support electrical maintenance efforts for troubleshooting assistance and supporting projects to deal with identified bad actor equipment. Facilitates the establishment of quality electrical standards and the identification and adoption of new power system technology. Facilitates the development of strategic improvement plans. Manages the identification, development, and implementation of new electrical, and power generation and maintenance PM programs. Supports and facilitates the training of electrical staff and maintenance technicians. Leads and supports the development of long range improvement plans for reliability. Monitors refinery energy performance and facilitates the development of programs for improvement. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required. Minimum of 8+ years experience required working with refinery equipment, power generation and electrical systems, including field experience and a high degree of technical knowledge. Must have a working knowledge of the maintenance and operational details relating to LV, MV, and HV motor control centers, switchgear, protective relaying, NFPA standards, and the National Electric Code. Have working knowledge of plant lighting, heat tracing systems and controllers, and have a solid background in the areas of electrical testing and commissioning standards. Knowledge of SKM power tools is required. Excellent PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Project, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work closely with personnel from other disciplines on complex projects.
