Description: Senior Wind Energy Consultant
Denver, CO
Develop, plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of wind energy projects.
Utility-scale wind farms, community wind systems, distributed wind, and
offshore wind projects.
Resource assessment, due diligence, siting, feasibility studies,
new technology evaluation, project proposal evaluation, conceptual design,
design review, performance estimates, and cost estimates.
The position will entail interaction with clients including:
utilities, energy project developers, financial institutions, energy
end-users, investors, government agencies, and other organizations.
Manage projects, including scope
definition, project staffing, technical oversight, and responsibility for
successful project execution on time and within budget. Lead and contribute
to authorship of reports, studies, and proposals. Manage work of others in
multi-disciplinary teams. Lead and assist with business development
activities in area of expertise. Assist with development of new project
opportunities and business lines. Exposure to wind resource analysis and
production estimation.
Qualifications:
Degree.
8 or more years experience with wind energy projects is a necessity.
Experience with conceptual and detailed design is desired.
Project field experience is also a plus.
Must have the ability to see projects from
concept through completion.
