Description: Texas, Houston Commercial Analyst Responsibilities and Duties: a.. Analyze REC and power markets b.. Prepare RFP responses working with development team c.. Build and maintain customer database and contact tracking system. d.. Analyze PPA and hedging opportunities for near term projects e.. Assist in creating and giving presentations to potential PPA customers f.. Assist in PPA and Hedge Agreement negotiations g.. Help optimize value of currently operating projects h.. Work with development team on analyzing transmission/market design effects on near term projects i.. Analyze the impacts of current market rules by ISO on near term projects
Qualifications: a.. Bachelor degree in a related field b.. Around five years of relevant experience c.. Strong written and analytical skills d.. Strong quantitative skills and ability to comprehend and analyze technical information e.. Strong communication and organizational skills f.. Ability to multi-task, committed to producing high-quality work, quick learner of complex material, detail-oriented, high achiever, self-motivated g.. Ability to perform duties in a collaborative working environment; also must be a responsible self-starter who can work effectively without constant supervision h.. Ability to travel and work overtime on short notice i.. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint and proven ability to learn new software programs
