Senior Applications Engineer

Position Description:
Responsibilities:
- Resolve device application issues during mass production to improve the customers' yield and DPPM.
- Respond promptly to customer issues related to LSI device(s).
- Provide accurate and effective bench level failure analysis with useful information in determining root-cause failure, via performing necessary experiments on bench to understand the extent of the failure as much as possible, and identify related blocks, parameters, circuit and register settings that will affect the failure or performance of the device.
- Fast overall failure analysis turnaround time with detailed analysis.
- Accurate verification of device rejects.
- Proper documentation of the customer issue on bench FA reports and in LOG nTRAC database.
- Clear communication of bench findings and engagement with other team members (Quality, Physical FA, Test, Product and even Design) to resolve the issue.
- Complete follow up of issues till proper closure.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
-Bachelors/University Degree in Electronics Engineering
- Investigative and analytical mindset, with a strong interest in electronics and technical work.
- A thorough knowledge of electronic circuits and systems with practical experience in analogue and digital electronic circuit design and debug.
- Knowledge and experience in measurement accuracy and high speed measurements techniques. Experience in RF measurement techniques is a plus.
- Experience in operating and programming test and measurement equipment.
- Experience in visual basic or similar programming language.
- Good communication skills, especially in technical writing and reporting.
- Able to speak Japanese
- Highly skilled and knowledgeable in digital systems, microprocessors
