SENIOR MANAGER (SUPPLY CHAIN )
Austin, TX
Manage the capital equipment supply chain for production equipment to meet
factory schedule, cost and productivity objectives.Manage complete process
of
capital equipment sourcing for assigned manufacturing processes beginning
with engineering engagement to understand equipment requirements, supplier
identification, selection, negotiations, delivery management and service
and support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SENIOR MANAGER (SUPPLY CHAIN )
Identify suppliers to provide factory production equipment based on
engineering requirements Analyze supplier capabilities, total cost of
ownership, and technical requirements to determine the optimal
supplier selection Implement supplier agreements which mitigate business
risks and create
high-value outcomes for both parties and support business growth objectives
Monitor supplier execution through their manufacturing process and engage as
required to ensure timely delivery of equipment
Develop spare parts plan, source required components, and manage inventory
to support factory requirements
Manage supplier performance and development to meet all commitments and
develop capabilities to support company objectives
Organization
Develop and document supply chain business processes compliant with ISO 9001
requirements / Participate in implementation of corporate Enterprise
Resource
Planning (ERP) system / Develop tools and processes to objectively assess
and improve supplier performance
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or
related field required, MS/MBA desirable. Professional certification
from APICS and/or ISM preferred
· 12 years experience in supply chain management or technology
manufacturing required, prior experience managing complex
capital equipment supply chains is highly preferred
· Requires strong skills in negotiating, team building, change
management, problem solving, communications, and project
management
· Requires high level of adaptability and flexibility to operate
in a dynamic environment
and/or managing processes and data within an Enterprise Resource
Planning system preferred
