Senior Electrical / Electronics Design Engineer (Analog and Digital)

Detail design and debug of engineering models, and pre-production prototypes.
Supervision of technicians and CAD personnel when assigned to project.
System level design with cross-functional team leadership.
Coordination and consulting with technical groups from other components.
Design review participation and field-test support, as required, during the prototyping phase of programs.
Documentation release, manufacturing support, and related assignments as required.
Technical conferences and seminars and support of technology transfer when needed.
Degree, Minimum 9+ years experience (or MSEE/Ph.D. with 6+ years)
applicable experience in Electrical Engineering is required.
Experienced in the development of new products or research
leading to a manufactured product. A solid understanding of engineering
fundamentals is mandatory i.e. mathematics, electrical circuit theory,
fields and waves, control systems.
Skills with both analog and digital electronic design.
Special expertise needed in the following skill areas:
Complex algorithm development and system level design for practical applications.
Very low noise LF/HF receiver design. Discrete component as well
as integrated circuit design skills.
Signal conditioning and instrumentation with coherent detection experience.
Desirable experience:
Very high temperature and rugged equipment electronics.
Spice, MatLab, MathCad, and other computer modeling skills.
Programmable/semi-custom ICs or full custom ICs.
DSP embedded systems experience with ability to program in C and assembly language
MRI or NMR technology knowledge and experience.
High frequency power electronics.
Induction antenna design, or similar skills and experience.
High voltage and High frequency power electronics.
Project management with cost, schedule, and technical leadership responsibilities.
Engineering functional management.
