Description: Facilities Manager collects feedback from Building supervisors/managers to ensure proper operations of the electrical services, emergency generator, UPS, CDA system, house vacuum, cooling water, and HVAC. Assigns the necessary tasks to be performed to PM's & supervisors, assigns procedures and corrective maintenance on facilities systems. Assigns Inspection, monitoring, modifcations and maintainance tasks at the facility, with company equipment within the leased space. Assigns manufacturing and process engineering for process systems installation and modifications or as required in the production process.
Supervises engineering staff who perform skilled trades work, such as painting, plumbing, HVAC, office fixtures, repair or alteration of structures such as cleanroom walls. Offers necessary support to the electrical, electronic, and chemical trades technicians and participate in teams as needed to achieve
departmental goals and ensure production required facilities are available at all times.
Qualifications: Degree, relevant.
10 years of prior project management experience is required. Position requires facilities management experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment facility preferably within the semiconductor/electronics industry. Able to use sound judgment in making decisions, be able to work independently and also able to be effective in the direction of others, possess a positive attitude, foster positive interactions with employees, Can be a 'hands on' team player and have initiative to take corrective action in resolving building issues. AA, or equivalent technical experience or military technical training.
Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge and proficiency in mechanical tools and techniques to maintain all building operating systems.
Experience in a fast paced maintenance environment. An excellent understanding of basic electricity in relation to motors and
lighting circuits. Competent in reading and interpreting P&ID's, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot systems and equipment as necessary.
Skilled in gathering data and effectively communicating results to team, peers and management.
Competent PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
