Sr Analyst SAP/BI

The Senior Analyst -SAP/BI is responsible for facilitating in the development, maintenance and enhancement of Enterprise Reporting.  This requires an in-depth understanding in the areas of Data analysis, Business Objects XI, and SAP Business Warehouse.  This position will be responsible for the design and delivery of user defined Dashboards, Scorecards and other analytical solutions.  Under the guidance of the Manager, business Warehouse, this individual will collaborate with internal customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define strategies and tactics to achieve business needs.  This individual must have strong research and analytical abilities to resolve complex reporting issues.

• Gather and assess business information needs and prepare system and reporting requirements
• Work closely with the business to define requirements and deliver reporting solutions
• Understand SAP NetWeaver and Business Objects technologies to provide an integrated reporting solution set.
• Troubleshoot business reporting issues and bring potential options to realization
• Provide technical consulting to users of the various data warehouse solutions and   advise users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage
• Execute reporting performance tuning and optimization
• Ensure the consolidation of existing solutions into a single source of trusted business information
• Support the information needs of not enterprise users for local reporting solutions (i.e. Business Development Teams, Sales organizations)
• Research and make recommendations on innovative methods for information delivery enabling the business to take information and generate decisions (reducing time and consuming analysis). 
• Perform data analysis to recommend appropriate design models for warehouse and analytics.
• Partnership with customers to identify their information and analytic needs, in support of delivering an enterprise solution

Basic Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years experience developing reporting solutions
• BS CS    
  
• 4+ years of demonstrated IS project management experience involving multiple development projects.
  
• Knowledge in BO XI, SAP BW, R/3 and Portals, Knowledge in Project, Microsoft Access and Visio a plus.
  
• Possess at least 4 yrs. project management skills; including the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks and/or projects to ensure target dates and goals are achieved.
