Sr Analyst Business Technology
The Sr Analyst Business Technology is a partner
to the company's functional organizations. This position is a critical
liaison between the business(ERP) (SAP SD/LE) and IT, and will focus on
identifying,
capturing, implementing and supporting the business process and technology
improvements across the business.
This position will be responsible for the on-going support of SAP
functionality supporting the Sales and Distribution business processes. This
is to include both resolution of production issues and the
configuration and implementation of enhancements or new functionality.
Identifying new opportunities to optimize IT value and enhance respective
business processes and procedures. Support IT management in prioritizing
and estimating business requests. IT project individual contributor -
focused on
requirements gathering and documentation, application configuration, testing
scenario development and execution, training development and delivery,
migration
planning and execution assistance. Conducting end user training, developing
training materials and curriculum, facilitation of workshops and user group
sessions.
Provide application tier 3 SAP functional supports.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a major in Business or Technical Discipline is
required.
SAP and/or Maximo education certification is preferred.
7 - 9 years of experience within a business function that includes sales and
operations. Expert knowledge of supply chain extension of SD including
shipment and delivery documents, route maintenance, transportation planning,
freight management. Strong functional knowledge of the order to cash flow
and data maintenance. Experience working with multiple modes of
transportation including trucks, rail, barge and vessel.
7 years of configuring/implementing SAP R/3 in the following areas:
Sales and Distribution - Master Data, Sales Order and Contract Processing,
Pricing Fundamentals, Stock Transfers,3rd-Party Processing, Billing
Logistics Execution - Delivery/Shipment Processing, Route Determination,
Shipping Point Determination, EDI, Shipment Costs, Copy Control, Output
Control, Handling Units, Event Management/ SAP R/3 SD modules required.
Strong experience preparing documentation: project proposals / business
justification, process flows, business processes and procedures, testing
scenarios and training materials.
Additional experience with SAP RCM module a plus, including configuration,
functional knowledge or training.
Business Warehouse, SCM/APO/RCM a plus.
