Sr Analyst Business Technology
The Sr Analyst Business Technology is a
critical liaison between the business and IT and will focus on identifying,
capturing, implementing and supporting ERP business process and technology
improvements across the organization.
This position requires key skills of collaboration, facilitation, business
analysis, and project management and will be responsible for the SAP
functionality supporting the Finance business processes. This is to include
the configuration and implementation of enhancements or new functionality.
Identifying new opportunities to optimize IT value and enhance respective
business processes and procedures. Support IT management in prioritizing
and estimating business requests.
IT project individual contributor - focused on requirements gathering and
documentation, application configuration, testing scenario development and
execution, training development and delivery, migration planning and
execution assistance.Conducting end user training, developing training
materials and curriculum
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a major in Business, Technical Discipline or degree
relevant
7 years of experience within a business function that includes finance,
sales and operations is required.
Strong functional knowledge of financial processes and an understanding of
the financial integration within other business process such Order to Cash
and Demand to Settle.
7 years of configuring/implementing SAP R/3 FI /CO or SEM modules.
5 years of specific hands on configuration experience in one of the
following areas is required: Treasury Management; Consolidations; or
sub-modules within Controlling (CO).
Experience with effectively designing and refining complex business
processes and application configuration spanning financial, sales and
distribution areas.Strong experience with preparing documentation: project
proposals / business justification, process flows, business processes
and procedures, testing scenarios and training materials.
The ability to effectively present recommendations and updates to diverse
audiences - business, technical and management.
SAP R/3 FI/CO modules required.
Additional Preferred:
SAP education certification is preferred.
ECC5 or 6, Business Warehouse, SEM BCS or
other Consolidations software packages - a plus.
