Description:
As an IT Analyst, you will partner with the business to
understand their business models in order to help formulate strategies and
develop requirements for new and enhanced systems. You will lead small
projects, ensuring that all products and services of eMarketing (External
Tools) meet company standards and end user requirements. You will support
the business by ensuring that all problems and issues are addressed in a
timely manner.
a.. Partner with the business to assist in developing requirements and researching and proposing solutions.
b.. Conduct interviews and facilitate requirements gathering,
process analysis and application design sessions with individuals from the
business and IT.
c.. Develop Scope, Functional Specs (and other required
documents) for software development
d.. Develop detailed specifications and estimates in
accordance with business requirements
e.. Develop test plans, test design specs and test cases to
match business requirements and thoroughly test software to ensure proper
operation.
f.. Develop and track projects, enhancements and fixes to
business applications.
g.. Document all problems and support issues, and work with
developers, testers and end users to resolve them.
h.. Assist with migrations, standards and administration as
needed.
i.. Assist Business partners in resolving IT issues and
facilitate working with other IT teams.
Qualifications: Experience/Education:
5 years experience in all phases of application development life cycle.
Bachelor's degree in area of Computer Science.
Knowledge:
Business process reviews
Use cases a plus
Software development life cycle
Testing development life cycle
Project Management life cycle
Project planning tool (MS project, Clarity preferred)
Mercury Test Director/Mercury Quality Center or related
Automated testing tool like Mercury Quick Test Professional and WinRunner
