Candidate for this position joins a leading provider of SaaS solutions for predictive analytics for marketers and merchandisers in a
variety of industries. The platform enables high-performance targeted marketing and merchandising across numerous customer touch-points in a variety of industries. The company's flagship product will generate up to a 35% increase in actual revenue per campaign, potentially producing millions of additional revenue for the company client. The Product Manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment that
challenges them to learn quickly, innovate and produce true business value for company clients. This Product Manager will be an experienced product manager with a history of product development, market analysis, product roadmap definition, planning and execution. The successful candidate will have a unique combination of creative and analytical talents. He or she must be able to conceptualize new ideas and research and evaluate them objectively from market need, market opportunity, business strategy and financial standpoints. The Product Manager must have a strong grasp of technologies and trends within marketing and understand the competitive landscape as well.
Qualifications: BASIC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
. 10+ years of experience in Product Management for a product company in analytics, business intelligence or decision support systems
. 8+ years experience in consumer retail, media, advertising, and/or marketing
. Understand how advertisers/media planners buy and manage media campaigns
. Understanding of the email delivery and marketing sector of advertising
. Proven success in developing product requirements and managing the product development process leading to revenue generating products
. Analytic mind & strong problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats
. Strong customer orientation and ability to build customer rapport
. Experience working with technology, marketing and sales teams to deliver quality products against aggressive schedules
. Must have demonstrated an ability to make sound product and engineering decisions and meet deadlines
. Ability to conceptually deal with large volumes of data and conceive of valuable new ways of using this data
. Excellent interpersonal skills with a well organized discipline, detail-oriented mentality, high energy levels and a team player attitude
. Previous experience as a software developer or strong understanding of
technology and software
