Sr/ Project Manager - Program Analyst
Bay Area, CA
Sr/ Project Manager - Program Analyst focuses on the continuing
evolution, implementation, and support of existing & new vendor-based
systems to support critical business processes / is responsible for
supporting
the successful implementation of technical solutions / providing technical
design, strategic vision, best practices research, technical requirements
definition alignment, vendor evaluations, systems assessments, and
operational administration and support / expected to have
up-to-date knowledge of IT strategic direction / able to
influence IT system decisions that are cost-effective, supportable and
scalable in company's computing environment.
DUTIES:
* Accountable for managing the completion of all technical project
deliverables, which includes configuration, development, infrastructure,
security, and data migration
* Work closely and professionally with business users and project team
members to ensure alignment to corporate goals and direction
* Support the business teams to define requirements and assess technical
feasibility
* Provides direction on technical standards and guidelines
* Serves as the focal point for coordinating project architecture
requirements with vendor services and for technical issues
* Follow Corporate IT processes for project execution
* Follow development standards and best practices as established by CIT
Architecture guidelines
* Conduct formal design and code reviews
* Ensures timely acquisition of technical resources - people and technology
Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS:
* 10 years application development and support experience with various
types
of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clearly
written, well-organized documentation
* Solid presentation and meeting facilitation skills
* Demonstrated focus on customer service, team development and on-time
delivery
* Demonstrated ability to manage to a work plan milestone dates
* Strong experience with J2EE technology (JSP, XML, Eclipse)
* Strong experience with primary technologies: Salesforce.com, SOAP,
WebServices
PREFERED:
* Experience with call support center applications in the health care field;
specifically, patient claims reimbursement
* Experience with ancillary technologies a plus: Aprimo, SAP, Vignette,
BusinessObjects, Webmethods, Informatica
* Knowledge of Microsoft and Apple operating systems
* Experience in deployment of SOX and GMP compliant applications
* Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
EDUCATION:
* BS or BA in CS, MIS, life sciences or business
