Description: Principal Enterprise Architect Location: Miami Focus on Enterprise Applications and Business Systems Architecture. Develop technology vision, architecture, strategy, and standards across multiple platforms, including emerging technologies like Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event Driven Architecture (EDA), and Business Process Management. Develop and drive an enterprise-wide Business Architecture Strategy, linking business and technology investments to support corporate growth. Conduct application architecture reviews, document results, and deliver technical / business recommendations. Provide architecture and design consulting support to all IT and business unit areas Lead major projects, including vendor and technology selection Lead application reviews of key projects. Align IT Architecture with business needs, communicating vision and investment opportunities. Knowledge of application architecture, design, development and implementation, including design of multi-tiered environments. Proven ability to provide technical input to line of business, help develop financial investment models e.g. NPV,ROI. Expert knowledge of application integration technologies, specifically integration brokers and web services.Proven skills to develop and maintain core standards, while adapting to meet key business and technical deliverables. Knowledge of database, data warehouse, data administration and data architecture., including DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server. Active knowledge of IT industry, with detailed knowledge of J2EE, Microsoft .Net and mainframe application platforms. Working knowledge of collaboration and messaging systems. Ability to design a fully redundant system for business continuity, load balancing and performance measurement. Ability to monitor and maintain current working knowledge of IT Industry trends and directions. Ability to model an application and translate to an end to end architecture, including gap analysis reporting. Ability to manage software development projects using tools such as SDLC and CMM. Proven ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with technical staff and all levels of management . Ability to translate complex technical architectures into business solutions, communicating them in business terms to key stakeholders. Proven record for Innovation and Change, demonstrated ability to translate complex technology into business terms. Ability to successfully engage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications: Minimum 12 years experience in an IT Enterprise. Bachelor degree in IT or related. Enterprise class knowledge of SAP and Indus would be a strong benefit
