Description: Sr Logistics Analyst provides logistics support to project proposal groups and projects throughout the life cycle of the project including logistics service provider bids, awards, and contract negotiations for required logistics services including: Project Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, and Heavy Haul shipping. Support construction schedules through timely scheduling of deliveries to jobsite. Provide logistics support for one or more international projects as assigned.
Conduct bids for international logistics services required on a project. Negotiate contracts for international logistics services required on a project.
Supervise and manage the selected logistics service providers and assigned staffs. Collaborate with Purchasing to determine delivery Incoterms and freight terms for purchased materials and supplies for a project. Develop and maintain import/export processes for a project to include regulatory compliance, freight consolidation, inventory control, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and ocean and air freight routing. Prepare and present logistics reports to Project Management Team including project logistics plan and logistics progress reports. Reports will track project shipments status and assist to maintain projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Log/Transportation.
Minimum 10+ years experience
Experience with epc engineering, procurement, construction company.
Strong knowledge of international trade and freight forwarding.
Strong incoterms and L/C documentation experience.
Skilled in Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe Acrobat.
