Electricity / Electric Power Transmission.
Assist Development, Origination, Trading, and Operations by providing transmission issue
management and system analysis for existing assets, potential FTR
transactions, project development, potential acquisitions, and proposed
power sales agreements. Ensure physical transmission paths are studied and acquired at the lowest cost,
at the correct operational relationships and that the proper market integration
requirements have been established with all providers to enable access to highest value
electric power markets. Manage interactions with transmission providers on all transmission issues.
Manage and provide support for all applicable state and federal regulatory fillings
including compliance fillings, disputes, litigation matters, protests, etc.
Develop, implement, and manage financial transmission rights (FTR) strategies in
applicable markets in close coordination with regional power trading desks.
Develop and advocate new tariffs or market functions that provide compensation for
reactive power and voltage support for all applicable assets.
Provide to operations; development and acquisition teams; trading; and origination group
on issues relating to transmission. Communicate transmission strategy to various audiences
Maintain relationships with public policy representatives, industry analysts, and other key stakeholders as
needed. Degree relevant. Broad understanding, knowledge and experience of electric power transmission.
